Getting Fit: A challenge for beginner runners or those of you who want to start running.
Week 1: Run one minute. Walk 90 seconds. Repeat eight times. Do three times a week.
Week 2: Run two minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat seven times. Do three times a week.
Week 3: Run three minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat six times. Do three times a week.
Week 4: Run five minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat four times. Do three times a week.
Week 5: Run eight minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.
Week 6: Run twelve minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.
Week 7: Run fifteen minutes. Walk one minute. Run fifteen minutes. Do three times a week.
Week 8: Run thirty minutes continuously.
Okay seriously noting this for myself. I am doing this when I get back to the gym in a week and a half or so. Yes please!

Look at him, hold him and kiss him. There was this look in his eye, a look not quite of excitement, but an accomplished look. A look of happiness, completion, protection-the look only a father could give his bundle of joy.
I get so happy seeing my babies together. My fiance is a great father already. This family we have, it’s perfect, something he’s always wanted… Something we’ve both always wanted. I’m so glad our first kid is a boy, someone for dad to play games with, take to football games… Someone he could teach to be his own wonderful man. If I’m lucky he’ll be a spitting image of his dad, in looks and personality. But I digress…
I’m just so happy to see this bond, and this love he has for his son. It’s something so beautiful, so reassuring that this kind of love we hold in this house is very real and very very strong.
I’ve been meaning to make this post for days, life’s just been hectic since he’s been here. My baby was born in the morning hours of December 16, 2011. My labor was fast, smooth and I almost did it with no meds. I’m so glad it went the way it did I wouldn’t change it for the world. I welcome our little boy to you world, Alex Jr. <3
My son isn’t here yet. I’m trying not to think a bout the time pass as im stuck here twiddling my thumbs, waiting for his next move. The people of the word won’t let me pass the time unknowingly, truthfully I think they are more impatient than me (and I’m carrying him!). But my fiance and I are doing wonderfully. We can’t wait to meet our beautiful little bundle of joy, but we won’t rush him. I can’t wait to see what little life the combination of our souls has created! My love has grown so much with the passing time, for my baby, my future husband for giving me this wonderful life, and for my little family. They’re the greatest gifts I could ever know and I feel so blessed…
About 22 years ago a beautiful 22yo. woman passed a beautiful baby girl into the world. She loved her, and loved her, and loved her until she possibly couldn’t anymore… And then she loved her some more. That baby is now 22 years old, ready to give life to a child of her own.
Today is my birthday and I’m spending it with my special man-the love of my life-and my lil man within. I couldn’t ask, pray, or wish for a better birthday. Woohoo to 22 :)
